By using CSEdge Portfolio Pulse ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you disagree with any part, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
CSEdge Portfolio Pulse is a web-based portfolio builder that allows users to create, preview, and deploy developer portfolio websites to GitHub Pages. The Service is provided by CSEdge ("we", "us", "our") and is accessible at portfolio.pulse.csedge.co.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By creating an account, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Free and Pro Plans
Free Plan
The free plan provides access to all portfolio templates and core building features, including GitHub Pages deployment. Portfolios built on the free plan will display a "Built with CSEdge" attribution badge.
Pro Plan
The Pro plan is a one-time lifetime purchase (currently ₹199) that unlocks PDF resume export, badge removal, portfolio analytics, and all future Pro features. Pro access is tied to your account and is non-transferable.
Refund Policy
Due to the digital and lifetime nature of the Pro plan, all purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you experience a technical issue with payment, contact us at support@csedge.co within 7 days.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload or publish content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload our servers
- Publish portfolios promoting illegal activities, hate speech, or harassment
- Circumvent, remove, or obscure the attribution badge on free-plan portfolios
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create and publish through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your portfolio content.
6. GitHub Pages Deployment
When you deploy to GitHub Pages, your portfolio HTML is published to your GitHub repository using the GitHub API with your authorisation. You are responsible for ensuring your portfolio content complies with GitHub's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. CSEdge is not responsible for the availability or content of your deployed portfolio.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all templates, UI designs, and code, is owned by CSEdge and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service templates outside of your own portfolio. The "Built with CSEdge" badge on free-plan portfolios may not be removed or altered.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that deployed portfolios will remain accessible. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CSEdge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will endeavour to notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
